Terms of service.

Last updated July 23, 2026

These terms govern the RunZone Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad app, the RunZone website, and related support. By downloading or using RunZone, you agree to these terms.

Provider and Apple terms

RunZone is provided by ARC Tech GmbH. The Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to RunZone. These terms add RunZone-specific information. The Apple agreement and mandatory law control if they conflict with these terms.

Fitness information

RunZone is a fitness and wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, emergency monitoring, or medical advice. Measurements, zones, readiness estimates, coaching, and weather information can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You remain responsible for safe activity choices and should consult a qualified medical professional when appropriate.

Apple services and permissions

RunZone uses Apple Health, iCloud, WeatherKit, Apple Maps, StoreKit, WatchConnectivity, and device sensors only for features you choose to use. You control the related permissions and Apple service settings. Denying or revoking permission can make the related feature unavailable without affecting unrelated features. The RunZone Privacy Policy describes these data flows and the limited anonymized logging boundary.

Subscriptions

RunZone may offer auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store. The app and Apple's purchase sheet show the current product, price, billing period, renewal terms, and any offer before purchase. Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and payment details. RunZone receives only verified entitlement information needed to provide purchased features.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings and request billing support or refunds through Apple. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the period recognized by Apple.

License and acceptable use

RunZone is licensed, not sold. The license scope and Apple-specific rules are defined by the Apple Standard EULA. Do not misuse RunZone, interfere with its operation, bypass subscription controls, use it unlawfully, or infringe another party's rights. Restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Availability and changes

Features can depend on compatible Apple devices, operating-system versions, permissions, sensor availability, network access, and Apple services. We aim to keep RunZone reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, platform compatibility, or product operation.

Warranty and liability

The warranty and liability provisions in the Apple Standard EULA apply. Any additional limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Termination and governing law

You may stop using and delete RunZone at any time. We may suspend access for material misuse, fraud, security threats, legal obligations, or a material breach. Governing law and forum follow the Apple Standard EULA, while the mandatory protections of your place of residence remain unaffected where applicable.

Contact and changes

Questions can be sent to info@runzone.app. We may update these terms when RunZone, Apple platform requirements, or applicable law changes. The effective date appears at the top of this page.
